A gente só conversa sobre o Fluminense, o que podemos melhorar no individual e coletivo. Desde o início do campeonato a gente cria e não faz muito gol. A gente fala muito sobre isso pra melhorar no jogo. O que podemos fazer no treino pra melhorar no treino.

Tem vantagem jogar depois dos adversários diretos?
A gente sabe que é ruim depender dos outros, procuramos depender só de nós. Mas é um benefício, para mim é bom entrar em campo sabendo do que aconteceu. Mais pressão, menos pressão, mas agora qualquer resultado tem pressão. São 5 jogos que são um campeonato a parte.
A torcida critica algumas das suas atuações….
Já me cobrei bastante, dei entrevista dizendo que precisava melhorar e melhorei. Infelizmente o rendimento da equipe toda não foi muito bem, assim como o meu. Estou ciente disso. Trabalho para dar meu melhor sempre. Acredito que a equipe vai melhorar.
A gente sabe que esse momento é de definição. Em time grande é muito maior a pressão, porque a cobrança é maior. Como você lida? E o grupo? Vir de um baque no fim do jogo? Como não deixar interferir no rendimento?
Eu não tinha vivido isso aqui não. Ano passado, talvez. Mas quando eu sai o time não estava nessa situação. Conversei com os companheiros, quem passou diz que não podemos deixar o time lá embaixo. Para subir, parece que tudo dá errado. Contra o Atlético dominamos o 1º tempo e tomamos gol no final do segundo. É um time grande, tem pressão da torcida. Temos que ter o psicológico forte para chegar dentro de campo e ganhar.
Você mesmo reconheceu que teve uma fase ruim e muitos torcedores pegavam no seu pé. Como você fez para lidar e não afetar seu rendimento?
Eu me conheci mais. Eu não tinha vivido um momento desse. Porque eu tinha que ouvir, ficar calado. O torcedor muitas vezes fala coisas ruins, perto da família. E sou pavio curto, mas deixo passar. Aqui é o Fluminense, tem cobrança. Ano passado eu fiz um ótimo ano, a torcida me abraçou. Eles querem o Gilberto do ano passado, e eu estou dando meu melhor pro clube. Trabalhei bastante a cabeça sempre.
Qual recado para quem ainda desconfia?
Pode ter certeza que estou me doando ao máximo. Faço tudo pra ajudar o clube. Todos os treinadores que passaram aqui confiaram em mim. O clube acredita em mim. Quem me cobra também, esperam meu melhor e por isso me cobram. Eu dou meu máximo.
O time do Flu tem uma tendência de jogar muito do lado esquerdo. Isso te prejudica?
Não fiz a pré-temporada com o time. O começo do ano foi com Ezequiel, ele é mais defensivo. O lado esquerdo foi mais explorado. Everaldo se destacou, Allan, Ganso, Caio Henrique… gostam de jogar daquele lado. E isso acabou me deixando um pouco sozinho pelo lado direito, tanto pra atacar quanto para defender. O Diniz me falou que eu era um jogador de força, que com pouca companhia eu ia conseguir me virar. E eu tenho que me virar, é isso que penso. Eu converso com todos, mas eu me esforço para não deixar nada de ruim acontecer.
Como vai ser reencontrar o CSA, jogo que marcou a saída do Diniz… ?
A gente sabe da história do que rolou depois do jogo. Muitos jogadores aqui devem a evolução em sua carreira ao Fernando Diniz. Infelizmente ele saiu naquele jogo. A gente tem que conversar e saber lidar com passado. É um novo jogo, pode marcar o contrário. Temos que ter positividade e levar para dentro de campo.

É muito importante para trabalhar tudo que falta para o gás final, porque não vai da para treinar muito. A gente está aproveitando bastante para trabalhar e descansar a cabeça. Vamos ter um confronto direto, infelizmente temos dificuldade. Não sei como explicar. A gente ganha do São Paulo fora e perde do CSA em casa. Controlamos o que perdemos, com muitos chutes. É complicado, mas temos que pensar positivo, ganhar o jogo. Entrar em mais uma final.
Faltam 5 rodadas e o Flu tem desvantagem por estar no Z4. É hora de apostar no que vem fazendo ou ainda da tempo de mudar a estratégia de jogo?
É mais uma pergunta pro Marcão, mas acredito que mudar agora, com o tempo que tem. Não dá pra fazer uma mudança efetiva. Podemos mudar a concentração, não levar gol no fim, caprichar mais na finalização. Mas nosso esquema, a pressão, não tem como mudar. Foi o que fez a gente jogar futebol na temporada. Independente do que vive fora de campo, o Fluminense é time grande. Tem que comandar o jogo, pressionar o adversário e fazer o gol.
Apesar da pressão, tem uma clima tranquilo, um convívio legal. Até que ponto a ansiedade atrapalha, porque nos jogos parece que atrapalha? Como é essa conversa?
É um grupo unido, fora de campo também. Tem pesado um pouco sim. A gente vem querendo mostrar que queremos e eles cobram a gente bastante. Temos que ter mais calma, estamos treinando bastante finalizações. Para mim é o que falta. A tranquilidade e calma é conversar no dia-dia. Mais experientes passam pros mais jovens para lidar com a pressão.

Com certeza, a gente não conversa sobre muitas outras coisas. A galera só fala sobre isso. Temos que ter calma. Mas agora todos são os jogos da nossa vida. Tem que ter tranquilidade, muita ansiedade podemos acabar nos perdendo. Se a gente conseguir os 3 pontos, teremos um jogo em casa e isso vai ser importante.
