Gabriel Pirani fala pela primeira vez após a saída do Fluminense e enaltece: “Um grupo extraordinário! Nunca vi nada igual”
Gabriel Pirani já deixou o Fluminense há mais de um mês, e pela primeira vez, o atleta falou abertamente sobre a sua passagem pela equipe do Rio de Janeiro. Em entrevista ao podcast “Mundo V2”, o meia, que deixou o clube após o Santos, dono dos seus direitos econômicos, acertar sua transferência para o D.C United, da MLS, comentou sobre o seu período em que esteve no Tricolor.
Primeiramente, ele falou um pouco da sua chegada ao clube.
“Estava treinando no CT do Santos quando meu irmão me liga dizendo que o Diniz queria contar comigo no Fluminense. Em primeiro momento, não acreditei muito. No dia seguinte, o próprio Diniz me ligou dizendo que queria contar comigo. E ele já me falou que ali era muito diferente. Disse que o grupo era muito bom, era excelente e que me adaptaria fácil. E eu falo aqui…é um grupo extraordinário, eu nunca vi nada igual. Todo mundo sem qualquer vaidade e me receberam muito bem. A recepção deles foi loucura.”
No segundo jogo pelo Fluminense, o jogador logo marcou o seu primeiro gol, no Fla-Flu, que definiu a vitória para o Time das Laranjeiras por 2×1. Ele recordou o momento, e enalteceu a relação de confiança com Fernando Diniz.

“Eu faço o meu primeiro jogo e o segundo é logo a final. Apesar de eu estar já adaptado, eu ainda tinha um pouco de dificuldades…o time do Flu é muito bom! Eles estavam muito acelerados, numa outra passada e eu ainda estava um pouco atrás. Na final, começamos perdendo e no intervalo, o Diniz fala para eu entrar e fazer o meu jogo! Me deu a confiança que estava tanto precisando. Foi o meu primeiro título profissional!”
Durante o seu período no Fluminense, Pirani enalteceu muito a relação com Fernando Diniz, que já o conhecia e lhe deu muita confiança para trabalhar. Mas o jogador também revela a admiração que teve por Paulo Henrique Ganso.
“O Ganso é um cara fora da curva. Primeiro é um cara muito simples, que me surpreendeu. Ele assusta com tamanha bondade que tem. Lembro de um dia que fiz um bom treino, treinei muito bem e ele de noite me mandou mensagem dizendo: você vai jogar bem, você e bom e vai dar tudo certo amanhã. Eu nunca esperava receber mensagem do Ganso. É um cara que cuida do grupo!”
No momento mais “turbulento” da temporada, Pirani marcou o seu segundo gol pelo Flu. O tricolor começou perdendo para o Bahia no Maracanã e teve logo um jogador expulso. Na segunda parte, em poucos minutos, a equipe vira o jogo com gols de Lelê e do próprio Gabriel.
Por fim, Gabriel Pirani contou, em detalhes, sobre a sua saída do clube. Ele revelou como foi a conversa com os americanos e processo, até deixar oficialmente o tricolor.
“Fui pego de surpresa. Lembro que no jogo do Bahia, um pouco antes daquele jogo, me ligaram dizendo que talvez tenha uma possibilidade de chegar uma proposta que talvez me agrade. E foi o jogo em que fiz gol e eles (DC United) assistiram o jogo. Depois desse jogo, eles vieram para o Rio de Janeiro conversar comigo. Fui ao hotel me encontrar com os representantes, onde eles me mostraram o centro de treinamento, o grupo , estrutura, a cidade, tudo. Encantador…obviamente, fiquei empolgado. E como sou uma pessoa ansiosa, mas sei que essas questões de negociações demoram, estava todo dia ligando para ver como que as conversas estavam, pois aí conseguiria me concentrar 100% para ver se ficava no Flu ou ia embora. E depois do jogo da Libertadores, teve um jogo que o Ganso não jogou e fui de titular. Logo depois desse jogo, me avisaram que os caras gostaram, que iam enviar a proposta oficial e tudo aconteceu”
